KUALA LUMPUR: A man, believed to be an Indonesian national, was found dead with slash wounds on his neck and his hands tied, by the roadside in Jalan Enggang Timur 1, Taman Seri Keramat, here, Friday night.
Ampang police chief, ACP Khairuldin Saat said the man, in his 20s, was found lying face down by a local female worker at a mutton processing centre nearby while she was on her way home, at 10.30pm.
"We believe the victim was brought here and murdered as there were no signs of him being pursued and he was barefooted," he said when met at the scene.
Khairuldin said the victim, who was without any identification documents, was believed to have been killed an hour before his body was found.
"The weapon used for the killing was not found near the body and he was not known to the residents here," he said. – Bernama
