KUANTAN: The High Court fixed Jan 28 for the mention in the murder case of Pahang Islamic Religious Department (Jaip) enforcement chief Ahmad Rafli Abd Malek.

Justice Ab Karim Ab Rahman fixed the date after he was told that the lawyer of the accused cult leader Harun Mat Saat and his three followers, did not turn up.

The proceedings on Thursday was supposed to be for the handover of documents.

Harun, also known as Tuhan Harun, his third wife Azida Mohd Zol, followers Shaizral Eddie Nizam Shaari and Sumustapha Suradi were charged with the murder of Ahmad Rafli on Nov 10.

Ahmad Rafli was shot dead in front of his house in Indera Mahkota here after he was called out by his assailants.
