PETALING JAYA: A 28-year-old man, believed to be an international student, fell to his death from the 21-storey-high Casa Residenza apartment in Kota Damansara here.
Police have identified the student as Dong Edward John Juan, a Sudan national.
It is learnt that Juan recently registered at a private college located nearby his apartment unit.
A 36-year-old security guard, who wished to be known as Jai, said he was on the ground floor when he heard a loud thud near the outdoor parking lot at 4.30pm Tuesday.
"It happened so quickly. I turned around and saw the mangled body sprawled next to a car," said Jai.
The witness said Juan was found with a slipper on one foot and a shoe on the other.
The victim's body was sent to the Sungai Buloh Hospital for post-mortem.
When contacted, Petaling Jaya OCPD Asst Comm Arjunaidi Mohamed confirmed the incident but declined to provide further details.
