KOTA KINABALU: Images allegedly captured from CCTVs of the culprits involved in the shooting spree here, and circulating in the social media, are actually from a criminal case in peninsular Malaysia, the police said.
City police chief Asst Comm Jauteh Dikun said the incident in the peninsula had occurred at the same time that the shooting spree broke out here.
