SELAYANG: The agony of the families of the three survivors of a Cessna 172 plane crash ended with their rescue early Saturday morning.
Victim Syed Haidar Syed Zulkifli's uncle said that the family was in a state of panic when they were informed of the incident at about 8.30pm yesterday.
"All the family members were contacted and some of us waited at the club till about 2am.
"But, the rescue team could not locate my nephew due to bad weather," said Ab Aziz Hanipi.
He added that Syed Haidar's brother informed the family that he was found at about 5am.
"With God's grace, he is safe. He is now in a stable condition and can speak normally,” he said.
Syed Haidar was a student at the Malacca Aviation College and currently completing his commercial flight licencing in Royal Selangor Flying Club.
The two other victims, Captain Saiful Farid Amin and Mohd Saiful Zafiq are also reported to be in a stable condition.
