PASIR GUDANG: Tanjung Langsat Port (TLP) has placed itself to become a regional oil and gas hub within the next five years.
Tanjung Langsat Port Sdn Bhd chief executive officer Johari Shukri Jamil said on Saturday that the port is off on a strong position to realise its goal to transformed Johor southern into a premier oil and gas hub in the region.
He pointed out that the completion of the RM115.8mil Berth 8 and Berth 9 in the first quarter this year will boost TLP's liquid cargo capacity to 28mil cubic meters per annum from 18mil cubic meters.
"We expected PTL to attract new investors and bigger vessels to come here," he said when met after a media tour at the port here.
