Jais to confer with Home Ministry over seized bibles, says Khalid


SHAH ALAM: The Selangor Islamic Religious Department (Jais) will be ordered to return the bibles it seized from the Bible Society of Malaysia (BSM) last week if the bibles did not contravene any regulations, said Mentri Besar Tan Sri Khalid Ibrahim.

According to him, the state exco had instructed Jais to confer with the Home Ministry to find out if the bibles complied with the criteria set by the Federal Government’s 10-Point Solution set out in 2011.
