Ti: NUCC should have asked Jais to return bibles


PETALING JAYA: The National Unity Consultative Council (NUCC) should have asked the Selangor Islamic Religious Department (Jais) to return the bibles confiscated from a recent raid on the Bible Society of Malaysia (BSM).

MCA Religious Harmony Bureau chairman Datuk Ti Lian Ker said while the party acknowledged the NUCC’s regret on the raid, it should have taken a tougher stand by openly declaring that the act was wrong.
