Former judge and family escape fire

PETALING JAYA: A family of three escaped a fire that razed three luxury cars and the front portion of their house at SS12 Subang Jaya.

The house owner, a 67-year-old former judge, said he was in the two-storey house with his wife and son when the fire broke out yesterday morning.

“I was in my bedroom when I noticed smoke coming from the porch roof. My family and I made a quick escape,” said the former judge, who declined to be named.

The cause is still being investigated.
