JOHOR BARU: Scores of sleeping foreign workers were rudely awakened by enforcement teams searching for illegal immigrants at Taman Daya here.
Many of them, from Indonesia, Myanmar and Bangladesh, ran out of their workers’ quarters, which housed about 200 people, and tried to hide in nearby bushes and ditches during the raid at 2am yesterday.
