PETALING JAYA: It has been a painful week for eight-year-old Ting (not her real name) who has been pining for her mother who ran away from home on Dec 21 due to marital problems.
The girl sought help from Public Services and Complaints Department chief Datuk Seri Michael Chong, who managed to locate the 39-year-old homemaker who was staying with her mother in Kuala Lumpur.
