Teen's pasar malam outing with friends ends in tragedy

ALOR SETAR: An 18-year-old boy went out to the pasar malam, telling his father that he would get the family fried chicken rice.

“He said he would buy nasi goreng ayam for us. While we were waiting, I got a call from his friends saying that he had been involved in a road accident,” said Sanusi Hanafi, 57, whose son Mohd Akbar Sanusi was one of three people killed at the eighth kilometre of the Kuala Nerang-Jitra road near Kampung Padang Balai here.
