ALOR SETAR: Raja Permaisuri Agong Tuanku Hajah Haminah Hamidun has advised orphans to study hard and achieve good results in their examinations.

She said she and the Yayasan Anak-Anak Yatim Sultanah Haminah would continue to care for their well-being.

“Remember, the absence of a mother or father is not a hindrance to success.

“You have to prove that you are capable of achieving success like other children who still have parents,” Tuanku Haminah added.

She said this at the presentation of school aid from the foundation to 40 orphans from primary and secondary schools in Kubang Pasu, Pokok Sena, Kota Setar and Kuala Muda districts here yesterday.

She also thanked donors for their contribution to the foundation which enabled it to carry out activities and provide aid for the benefits of orphans. — Bernama
