PETALING JAYA: The police will investigate claims that five Indian nationals were kidnapped by their compatriots in Malaysia and were only freed after their respective families paid ransom money.
According to the Times of India, the five victims from Punjab, India, were allegedly kidnapped by their fellow countrymen and kept in Serdang, Selangor, for five days last month before they were released.
