Lorry hijackers steal microchips


BALIK PULAU: Another case of “hijack on the road” saw thieves escaping with RM800,000 worth of microchips after driving off with a lorry in the Free Industrial Zone in Bayan Lepas.

Deputy OCPD Deputy Supt Lai Fah Hin said the driver had parked and locked the vehicle, and then went to the office to collect some documents at about 9.30pm on Friday.
