AN aide of Malacca Chief Minister Datuk Idris Haron assured residents of heritage village Kampung Chetty that they will not be affected by a property development on an adjacent land.
V.P. Shanmugam, the Chief Minister’s special adviser on Indian affairs, was quoted by Malaysian Nanban as saying that the state government was concerned and was taking the necessary action to safeguard the historical and traditional village.
