GEORGE TOWN: Manufacturing costs will inevitably increase should there be a hike in toll rates, said the Federation of Malaysian Manufacturers (FMM).
FMM Penang Island chapter chairman Lee Teong Lai said: “The hike in toll rates will cause a domino effect. It will result in higher costs of transporting materials and this, in turn, will increase manufacturing costs.
