PETALING JAYA: Malaysia is facing a shortage of well-trained engineers in the niche discipline of design and research and development (R&D).
Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman (Utar) R&D and commercialisation vice-president Prof Dr Lee Sze Wei said the shortage would be more acute if nothing is done to rectify the situation.
