PETALING JAYA: Civil society leaders and legal activists have paid tribute to former South African president Nelson Mandela, many expressing admiration for his forgiving spirit and tenacity.
Malaysian Centre for Constitutionalism and Human Rights coordinator Edmund Bon said Mandela was a human rights defender, practising non-violent direct action.
