JOHOR BARU: Former national footballer Khushairi Karti Khan Abdullah has been charged with illegal possession of firearms and a stolen vehicle – offences that could put him in jail for up to 20 years as well as caned and fined up to RM10,000 if convicted.
He pleaded not guilty to the offences that were allegedly committed at the 12th kilometre stretch of the North-South Expressway, near Senai, at 7.38pm on Nov 14.
