THE Tourism and Culture Ministry will support the move for archeological sites in the Bujang Valley in Kedah to be gazetted and even inscribed as a Unesco World Heritage Site.
Deputy Natural Resources and Environment Minister Datuk Dr James Dawos Mamit, who was replying questions on behalf of the Tourism Ministry in Parliament, revealed that steps were being taken to gazette the sites as national heritage prior to the bid for the World Heritage Site listing.
