Open to opinions: The Government has decided to withdraw six Bills after taking into account views from various quarters.
KUALA LUMPUR: The Government has withdrawn six Bills in Parliament to allow for further fine-tuning of the proposed laws, said Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department Nancy Shukri.
The Bills withdrawn are the Criminal Procedure Code (Amendments) 2013, Evidence (Amendment) Bill 2013, Emblem and Names (Prevention of Improper Use) (Amendment) Bill 2013, Common Gaming House (Amendment) Bill 2013, Lotteries (Amendment) Bill 2013 and Pool Betting (Amendment) 2013.
