KUALA LUMPUR: The Tourism Ministry's RM15mil Cardiff Football Club jersey sponsorship is justified in terms of generating revenue returns for the country, said Tourism and Culture Minister Datuk Seri Mohamed Nazri Abdul Aziz.
"We feel that the expenditure is justified if you calculate RM15mil for advertisements which brings in tourism receipts amounting to RM65bil," he said when replying to a question raised by Hee Loy Sian (PKR-Petaling Jaya Utara) when winding up the Ministry's budget speech in Parliament on Thursday.
