London slavery: If Aishah has unknowingly lost her citizenship, it will be reinstated, says Wisma Putra

Wisma Putra in Putrajaya

PUTRAJAYA: The Malaysian High Commission has yet to have access to the Malaysian woman, identified as Aishah Wahab by British authorities, who has been held captive in London for 30 years, Wisma Putra said in a statement on Thursday.

However, it would seek to determine her legal status and if she had “unknowingly lost her Malaysian citizenship and became stateless at some point in the past 30 years under dire circumstances” it would work with other authorities to reinstate her citizenship.
