KUALA LUMPUR: Bukit Aman is introducing a new nationwide distress alert system after it phased out two state-based panic button apps.
Called the SaveME 999, this new app is expected to replace Selangor police’s MyDistress and Johor police’s Community Alerts (CommAlerts) mobile apps launched in 2011 and last year respectively.
