KUANTAN: The Kuantan High Court Wednesday set aside the Sessions Court's conviction of an Indonesian maid who pleaded guilty to hurling and abusing her employer's four-month-old baby boy on Feb 15 and ordered a retrial.
Judge Datuk Seri Mariana Yahya arrived at the decision on the grounds that Yuliana, 23, from Acheh, had not fully understood the charges when read out to her before the Sessions Court judge.
