SHAH ALAM: PAS Muslimat has defended the party's tahaluf siyasi (political ties) with PKR and DAP despite calls by party conservatives for the Islamist party to review its position in the opposition pact.
The party's women's wing chief Siti Zailah Mohd Yusoff said the tahaluf siyasi had boosted their performance in other states - apart from their traditional east coast state strongholds - since the 2008 general election.
