KUALA LUMPUR: The High Court upheld the acquittal of two former directors of Koperasi Pelaburan Hartanah Berhad in relation to charged involving get-rich-quick schemes with investments exceeding RM2mil.
Justice Amelia Tee Hong on Monday dismissed the prosecution’s appeal against the acquittal of Lee Wei Onn, 46, and Md Sarip Salleh, 52, on three charges under the Cooperative Societies Act without their defence being called.
