GEORGE TOWN: Four family members who were fined RM10,000 each by a Sessions Court for negligently causing the death of a toddler during an exorcism ritual last year will know on Nov 15 whether their sentence will be enhanced.
High Court Judge Zamani Abdul Rahim has fixed the date to deliver his decision on the prosecution’s appeal against the sentence imposed on the four for causing the death of Chua Wan Xuen who was aged two years and nine months.
