No plea was recorded and no bail was granted.
Magistrate K.B. Elena Hong Tze Lan fixed Dec 6 for mention. DPP Saphirra Selamat prosecuted.
The accused was represented by Datuk Suraj Singh while Datuk R.S. Sodhi held a watching brief for the victim’s family.
Also in the court were Yuk Tim’s family members, including her mother Sim Yee Ling, who looked emotional during the proceedings.
Yuk Tim’s body was found stuffed in a suitcase near Kota Kemuning in Shah Alam.
