KUALA LUMPUR: A new bus drivers' profile system is set to replace the existing Kejara demerit system, in a move by the Road Transport Department (JPJ) to yank dangerous and errant bus drivers off the road.
Deputy Transport Minister Datuk Abd Aziz Kaprawi said the new system under the JPJ enforcement section will target bus drivers who are high on drugs, and those with multiple outstanding summonses.
