KUALA LUMPUR: DAP leader Lim Kit Siang has intentionally or unintentionally misconceived the High Court judgment over the acquittal of Tun Dr Ling Liong Sik of the three charges of cheating the Government.
MCA deputy president Datuk Seri Liow Tiong Lai (pic) said Lim had done so to the detriment of both Ling and the MCA as a whole. “Lim has misled the public as the judgment, as reported, does not warrant any conclusion of “immunity on dereliction of duty’ as claimed by him,” Liow pointed out.
