KUALA LUMPUR: A 39-year-old housewife died after falling from the fourth floor of D’Casa Condominium in Ampang.
Ampang Jaya OCPD Asst Comm Amiruddin Jamaluddin said during the 6am incident yesterday, the housewife’s sister was praying when she heard a loud thud coming from outside her window.
“She rushed to the balcony and saw the woman’s body lying next to a swimming pool on the third floor,” said ACP Amiruddin.
A report was lodged at 7am.
“The forensic team found no evidence of foul play,” said ACP Amiruddin, adding that police were investigating the case as sudden death.
The mother of four was reportedly suffering from mental illness.
In a separate incident, the body of a 28-year-old man was found at the bottom of an apartment near Sentul Park 3am Sunday,
“We believe that he fell from the fourth storey,” said Sentul OCPD Asst Comm Zakaria Pagan.
It is learnt that the deceased was diagnosed with mental illness three years ago.
