KUALA LUMPUR: The Education Ministry on Thursday received the United Nations (UN) Malaysia Award for its significant contributions to Malaysia's achievement in one of the eight Millenium Development Goals (MDG).
Deputy Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin, who is also Education Minister, received the award for MDG 2- Achieving Universal Primary Education at the UN's 68th anniversary celebration.
