MCA EGM: 92% turnout, voting over


KUALA LUMPUR: A total of 2,199 or 92.2% of the 2,385 MCA central delegates turned out for the party's extraordinary general meeting (EGM) here Sunday.

Speaker Datuk Yik Phooi Hoong said this had exceeded the quorum, which is a third of the delegates, required for the EGM to take place.
