PETALING JAYA: Additional safety measures have been introduced at monorail stations to ensure passengers can travel safely while upgrading works are in progress, said Syarikat Prasarana Negara Berhad (Prasarana).
Its infrastructure development division group director Amiruddin Ma’aris said the additional safety measures were initiated because the company was unable to shut down the stations during operational hours to carry out some of the major works.
