Pahang MB: Two premier schools to remain open

KUANTAN: Two premier schools here – SK St Thomas and SM St Thomas – located within the premises of the St Thomas church, will continue to exist instead of being closed down by year-end.

Pahang Mentri Besar Datuk Seri Adnan Yaakob said the Education Ministry had decided to rescind its earlier decision to close down both schools. He said ministry officials had considered the interest of all parties in a meeting on Oct 7, and decided to allow both schools to continue operating.
