KUALA LUMPUR: The 66-year-old victim of road rage incident on Sept 30 died after being in a coma for a week.
Taxi driver Hiew Chen Guang died at the Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia Medical Centre.
His 33-year-old daughter called her siblings and relatives to see Hiew for the last time when a nurse told her that his condition was deteriorating. He died at 2.55pm yesterday.
City CID chief Senior Asst Comm Datuk Ku Chin Wah said the case was now being investigated for murder under Section 302 of the Penal Code.
He urged witnesses to come forward with information over what happened on the fateful morning.
Hiew had collided with a motorcyclist at Old Klang Road here around 7am.
As he drover a little further to look for a proper place to park his vehicle, a man allegedly dragged him out of the vehicle and assaulted him.
