The car in which the body of the teenager was found in the boot at Alor Pongsu rest area, Ipoh.
A relative who declined to be named said that the last they saw of him was during a family gathering in Kuantan in August.
“He will not fail to call back home once in two days, but when we did not receive a call from him two days ago, we become worried.
“We lodged a missing persons report, and our worst nightmare came true when police informed us that they had found Seu dead,” he told reporters at the Raja Permaisuri Bainun Hospital’s mortuary on Saturday.
Seu’s body was found together with another man known as Ting Liong Chin, 28.
Also present at the mortuary were Ting’s family who refused to speak to reporters.
On Friday police found flies swarming outside the car, with a Penang registration plate, parked in front of the ladies’ toilet at the rest area.
A police patrol car made the find at about 4.05pm after they were alerted of the strong stench coming from the car.
