The Prevention of Crime Act (PCA) 2013 was passed by the Dewan Rakyat early yesterday despite a concerted attempt by Opposition lawmakers to block it.
The move to stop the controversial Bill from proceeding to the final stages of debate at the committee stage failed, with 115 Barisan Nasional MPs voting to proceed with the third reading of Bill and 66 Opposition MPs objecting to it.
