FIVE women have been jailed for selling a newborn girl in the Dindigul district of Tamil Nadu. One of them is the baby’s maternal grandmother, Tamil Nesan reported.
The sale of the infant came to light after the 20-year-old mother, from Palani, informed her estranged husband that their baby had died at birth.
