TAWAU: Sabah Chief Minister Datuk Seri Musa Aman has urged the people of Malaysia and Indonesia to maintain harmony and good relations built over the years.
He said Malaysia and Indonesia were not only neighbours and came from the same roots, but also had blood ties and cultural history entrenched since hundreds of years ago.
"Now the relationship is bound by economic ties and cooperation in various fields between governments and the private sector as well as people to people relationship between the two countries.
"The people of both countries should continue to move forward with stronger cooperation and good relations in order to scale greater heights," he said at the Indonesia's 68th proclamation of independence here Saturday night.
