KOTA KINABALU: Luyang assemblyman Hiew King Cheu (pic) has left Sabah DAP to become an Independent amid talk that at least two more representatives from Sabah PKR could make a similar move.
Hiew is widely expected to become a Barisan Nasional-friendly assemblyman while considering his next move. Some suspect he might return to his former party – Parti Bersatu Sabah, which is a Barisan component party.
