SAN FRANCISCO: Malaysia will have a RM30mil autism centre named Permata Kurnia in Sentul, Kuala Lumpur, by 2015, said the Prime Minister’s wife Datin Seri Rosmah Mansor.
In 1985, the ratio of children with autism in Malaysia was one in 10,000 but the rising figure has become a cause for concern, while in countries like South Korea, only one child in 30 is autistic, she told reporters after a visit to the Anova Centre for Education in San Rafael, here.
