Move to address rampant cases of ATM break-ins


JOHOR BARU: A special task force headed by the state deputy police chief has been formed to investigate loopholes in banks’ safety measures which are being taken advantage of by robbers.

Johor police chief Senior Deputy Comm Datuk Mohd Mokhtar Mohd Shariff said a meeting, chaired by his deputy, Deputy Comm Datuk Ismail Yatim, would be held soon between the police and bank authorities to address the rampant cases of ATM break-ins in Johor.
