KUALA LUMPUR: The Islamic Development Department of Malaysia (Jakim) has never issued texts for Friday sermons containing calls for Muslims to be hostile towards Christians in the country, Parliament was told Monday.
Minister in the Prime Minister's Department Datuk Seri Jamil Khir Baharom said the texts for Friday sermons were carefully prepared so as not to jeopardise the unity that existed among the people of various religions in the country.
