Sarawak’s development a priority, says Najib

KUCHING: Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak promises to fulfil the rural development agenda in all corners of the state to ensure that the state would be on par with Pen­insular Malaysia when it becomes a developed nation by 2020.

Speaking during the 50th Malaysia Day celebration at Padang Merdeka here yesterday, Najib said the Federal Government would commit to ensure that all the nooks and crannies of the state would enjoy the benefits of development.
