PETALING JAYA: Three years after his father, three siblings and another relative were killed in a road tragedy near Kuantan, teenager Josiah Wee (pic) died from injuries he has long-suffered.
Josiah, youngest son of senior school assistant Roland Wee Seng Hock, succumbed to complications sustained from the 2010 accident on Monday.
The 16-year-old boy, who has been in and out of hospital since the tragedy, is survived by his mother, Chew Chin Loi, 57, and sisters, Joy and Jemima.
Joy was reportedly in Britain when the 2010 accident occurred, while Josiah and Jemima were travelling in the family MPV that was involved in the 7.45am collision with a trailer at Km87 of the Kuantan-Segamat road on June 17 that year.
Aside Roland, 53, the others who died in the accident were son Joash, 23, daughters Jacinth, 18, and Jelyn, 15, and mother-in-law Lim Kim Boon, 79.
