PUTRAJAYA: More than 2,400 illegal immigrants were rounded up within 24 hours of the launch of Ops 6P Bersepadu to flush out unwanted foreigners in the country.
Those arrested were among the more than 8,100 people checked by the authorities in 40 operations in the crackdown that began on Sunday, according to the Home Ministry.
