GEORGE TOWN: An ambush at Jalan Patani led to the biggest drug seizure in the state in recent years, with police arresting six men aged between 35 and 46 on the island and the mainland and seizing 150kg of drugs worth RM11.56mil.
After the first arrest in Jalan Patani, police followed up by detaining three men in Lorong Madras here and another two in Machang Bubuk, Bukit Mertajam, to cripple the drug-trafficking syndicate.
